Q: How much do you charge?

A: Prices mainly depend on the date, type of event, how many hours and its location. Other factors that determine price are the number of guests and package options. Have this information ready when you contact Joey V so you can receive an accurate price quote.

Q: What type of music do you play?

A: Joey V plays music from the 40's to the Top 40's and will use his extensive musical knowledge to cater to the type of event and demographics of your guests. For example, the music at a Sweet 16 or school dance will be much different than at a 50th wedding anniversary. Joey V only plays clean radio-edited versions of songs that are FCC compliant.

Q: Do you take requests?

A: Absolutely! Everyone at your affair may request music from a constantly updated library of over 35,000 songs. As long as time allows, every effort will be made to play requests. Like many DJ's, Joey V uses discretion to determine if a requested song is appropriate enough to be played without disrupting the "flow" of a party.

Q: Do you interact with the crowd, make announcements & do introductions?

A: Joey V does not have a reputation of being a flamboyant DJ personality, but does know how to skillfully motivate your guests and keep the party flowing with energy. All announcements and introductions will be made accordingly. Specific people are welcome to use the microphone for speeches or announcements as long as they are relevant to the event.

Q: Is your equipment professional grade?

A: Joey V only uses and endorses reputable brands such as Carvin, Pioneer, Denon, Ecler, Numark and Shure. And for special events, multiple setups and equipment options are available to meet your needs.

Q: Can I see you play somewhere before deciding to hire you?

A: Inviting potential customers to someone else's private affair requires permission from the party host and/or the banquet hall. However you are always welcome to attend Joey V's next scheduled public performance.

Q: Do you have any video clips or references?

A: Video clips and references are available upon request. Please be advised that since videos are subjective in nature, they are only intended to give a small sample of the types of events and music that Joey V plays. This website should provide enough information to help you decide if Joey V is the right DJ for you.

Q: Is it possible to donate your services?

A: Joey V realizes that giving back to the community is an important part of doing business and brings good karma. Please inquire with information about your charity and cause along with proof of tax-exempt status.

Q: If you are unable to perform, do you have a backup DJ?

A: Joey V has maintained a 100% perfect attendance rating and sticks to the old adage, "The show must go on!" However, if an emergency situation arises, Joey V has business relationships with several other DJ's who can fill in as a replacement.
